Generation Y, formed seven months ago, have a vision for the youth of Wauchope and believe the town should be better equipped for youths.

And they want you to join their cause.

Meetings, distributing petitions, researching grant opportunities, attending a state government forum and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council workshops are all part of the mission for these Wauchope locals.

They want a new skate park close to town and believe the lack of facilities in town is restricting the talents of the youth and resulting in bored kids.

Generation Y will meet to talk about various topics affecting youth in Wauchope including recreational facilities, prospective projects and events in the future and forming a non-profit incorporated association.
