A WAUCHOPE with a vision for the future will be on the agenda at Wauchope Chamber of Commerce's February meeting.
And Port Macquarie Hastings Council have been invited to attend the meeting to discuss their 'Towards 2030' community vision document.
The meeting will act as a forum to discuss the issues concerning the document as well as other topics including the CBD masterplan, parking and the current status of the Wauchope Waste Transfer station.
Wauchope Chamber of Commerce president Rob Hamilton is hopeful that council will attend the meeting although at this stage it is unconfirmed.
"It's a great chance for us to meet and provide feedback," he said.
"Not only on the Towards 2030 vision document but the other issues that are affecting this community.
"The offer has been made and we await their response."
The Chamber of Commerce will meet on Tuesday February 9 at the Wauchope RSL Club at 5.15pm.
Council have also asked the community to comment on its Towards 2030 vision document with responses closing on February 12.
The Towards 2030 community vision document can be viewed at council or on their website www.hastings.nsw.gov.au .
