PORT Macquarie-Hastings Council will hold its June meeting at Wauchope next Wednesday night.
This is the second year in a row that Council has conducted its Taking the Council to the Community meetings with last year's event attracting a large crowd.
Council General Manager, Andrew Roach said, "I had only been at Council a couple of days when we held the meeting at Wauchope last year, so I have fond memories of that meeting.
"I'm hoping to again see a full house and meeting as many people as possible. All of the Executive Team will be there along with Administrator Garry Payne, so it's a great opportunity to discuss local issues.
"It should be an interesting Council meeting with a number of agenda items addressing Wauchope specific issues. These include the ongoing Hastings Street fig trees issue, the Wauchope Town Centre Urban Design Plan, Contributions Plan for community facilities at King Creek, as well as looking at industrial and rural residential land at Sancrox.
