THE annual Telstra Child Flight Odyssey enjoyed an overnight stop in Wauchope on the weekend.
The three day fundraising charity drive finished in Bulahdelah on Sunday after departing Scone last Friday.
Each year Telstra Child Flight stages two week long, and two weekend Odysseys that help raise much needed funds for the critical care air transportation for children.
These events are about having fun and great camaraderie whilst raising the much needed funds.
The Odyssey charity drives are aimed at the people who like to get out to the back blocks with a group of like minded people for a week of fun.
It is also a great test of motoring and navigational skills.
The Odyssey is not a race, but a journey that covers a distance of between 850 and 900kms over the three day period.
The Odyssey takes place on a variety of bush dirt roads, fire trails, private property and cross country tracks.
People from all walks of life, friends, families, husbands and wives choose to enjoy this motoring challenge.
There is no restriction on what type of vehicle can be entered into the Odyssey, with two and four wheel drives taking part. Participants are able to enter if there vehicle is registered and reliable.
