School choir's spectacular bid

05 Nov, 2009 10:52 AM
STUDENTS from Wauchope High School's Choir need a helping hand for their spectacular mission.

Sixteen students from the school's choir will take part in this year's School Spectacular and will travel to Sydney for four shows kicking off on November 27.

But the singers need help and hope the Wauchope community can get behind their bid to be a part of the biggest show of its kind in Australia.

They are looking for sponsors and donations that will be able to help with the costs associated with performing in the spectacular.

Wauchope High School teacher Miriam Lattimore said the students had already put in a huge effort to make the spectacular.

"They have been very enthusiastic and demonstrated their commitment to the show," she said.

"At $400 per student it is quite expensive so we hope we can receive some financial support.

"We've already received some very generous donations which we're very thankful for."

The students and their parents are conducting fundraising activities in order to reduce their costs.

They would greatly appreciate your assistance through a donation.

If you would like to sponsor the choir, please contact me at the Wauchope High School on 6585 1400.
