Although only 10 years old and in Year 5 at Hastings Public School, Stephanie was selected into the team after competing in trials at Coffs Harbour during August.

At the trials she performed with confidence in both batting and bowling (she was on a hat trick at one stage) and she hopes to perform even better during the Cronulla carnival.

Being the youngest member of the team does not bother her as this summer will be her fifth season of junior cricket in the Hastings area.

Stephanie is a member of the U/12 Wauchope Abstract Plastics team and is looking forward to showing the boys a thing or two about cricket.
