The team took out the regional play-off round robin in Wingham last week to progress to the next level which will be held at Raymond Terrace on August 13 and 14.
If the team is successful at that level, it will then compete in the state final to be played out at Nelson Bay, also in August.
The battled-hardened players bowled spectacularly at Wingham thanks to some tough competition on the home greens from the local men's sides.
Meanwhile at the local level, players on the Wauchope Country Club greens for the first round of the minor singles last Thursday.
Well done to the winners who go to the next round to be played today [Thursday].
Winners on the day included Pat Coombes and Joyce Boyd. Lucky losers went to Lynne Hosking and marker Rhonda Schubert.
The raffle was trade table and most members received a prize.
On Saturday, 14 players took to the greens for two games of pairs and one game of triples.
In sunny conditions, the winners with the highest score on any one end were Rosie Ansley and Joyce Boyd while the lucky losers with the most number of ends on a countback were Marie Winter and Jutta Hall.
A reminder ladies that all nominations for positions for the annual meeting should be in by the closing day of June 27.
Get well wishes to all the people not in the the best of health.
