The gathering at 10am comes ahead of tonight's community meeting with council about the Traffic Management Strategy for Wauchope to be held at the Wauchope Seniors Centre High Street Wauchope.
Michele Malseed of the Wauchope Business Association said there will be a brief overview of the proposals and an update on the petition sent to NSW Roads and Maritime Services, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and the Deputy Premier and Member for Oxley, Andrew Stoner to implement alternative traffic flow strategies for Wauchope.
The community is invited to view the draft Wauchope Traffic Management Strategy that is now open for comment until March 21 at council offices and libraries in Wauchope, Port Macquarie and Laurieton and on-line at www.pmhc.nsw.gov.au
