THE Wauchope Junior AFL's Under 13's took on a determined Camden Haven Bombers outfit on a blustery Sunday morning at Laurieton.

From the centre bounce Joel Carter tapped it out to first gamer Lachlan Cammilleri working out of the centre along with Lachlan Eggert had the ball heading towards our goals.

It wasn't long before Joel had centered a kick between the goals and Wauchope was on the board.

Second quarter the backs were kept busy with Bayleigh Roberson, Harry Donald and Isaac King tackling and smothering kicks.

Copper Barnes ever ready to pick up a sneaky ball gained possession for Wauchope clearing it out to Tom Crawford, Abbeegail Goldie and Lachlan Barnes.

In this quarter Joel scored another major with the lead close in our sights.

The remainder of the game Wauchope peppered the goals unfortunately were not able to score majors, though the players showed dogged determination with Matthew Twaddell, Gabby Caruana and Alyssa O'Neill closing in on the ball at every opportunity, keeping the Bombers scoring to a minimum .

Under 11s

The Wauchope RSL U11 Joeys headed south to Laurieton to take on the Camden Haven Bombers on Sunday.

It was blowing a gale making it difficult for accurate kicking. The Joeys started well with good drive out of the centre from Harrison, Gabby & Emily with little Noah in and under again.

Good efforts up front from Ben and Alyssa saw the Joeys create some good scoring opportunities. Cooper in charge down back, helped by Jarrod and Abbee kept scoring by the Bombers low. Great tight game all day with plenty of effort by the whole team. Best players Gabby, Abbee, Cooper, Emily and Zac. Majestic Cinemas voucher awarded to Lachlan E.
