A CAR left Quarry Road on Sunday night, traversed three properties, felled one tree and was stopped by another.
Police were called to the scene at about 11.40pm.
Spokesperson for the NSW Police said the silver BMW was travelling north along Quarry Road, Rosewood, and left the road on a bend.
"The car hit a letterbox, traversed a ditch, collided with a fencepost and felled a tree before colliding with another tree and coming to rest about 80m from where it left the road," the spokesperson said.
"The driver and passengers were seen to exit the vehicle and leave the scene before police arrived."
One of the local residents said the road was poorly marked, and several safety posts missing prior to the accident.
Neighbours said the road needed urgent attention.
