PORT Macquarie Hastings Council says some residents may be experiencing milky water.
In a statement issued on Friday afternoon, council said the milky water is due to some operational issues,
“Milky/cloudy water in the following areas has been experienced over the past week,” a council spokesperson said.
Areas affected could include, the Port Macquarie Industrial Area, Settlement Point, Hastings River Drive and Clifton Drive.
The milky water is caused by very small air bubbles being introduced into the water supply and pose no health issues.
The milky water is expected to clear over the next week, council said.
