Amber Joy Poulton for Wauchope RSL Club gig

SHE performed with her idol Kenny Rogers, performed Loretta Lynn numbers in a tribute show and has supported the likes of Melinda Schneider, Brian Cadd and Russell Morris.

And now Amber Joy Poulton is coming to Wauchope.

In 2009 Amber Joy was selected as a Top 10 grand finalist in Tamworths' world famous Toyota Starmaker competition. Add to that, a 2012 TIARA Award Winner while at this year's Tamworth Country Music Festival she appeared as a Top 10 grand finalist.

Amber Joy, now a TIARA Award Winner (2012 for Best Vocal Collaboration), has had major success on the airwaves with her debut album. She made her mark national wide by hitting the Top 30 of the Australian Country Music Charts with first single, Rising Star and the beautiful duet with Doug Bruce, Close Enough (No. 13).

The touching ballad, Good Old Fashioned Days is still receiving radio play around the country (since May 2010) and has also received the award for SA APRA Traditional Country Song Of The Year for 2009.

She followed that award up with another in 2010 with title track, Taking Goodbye.

Amber Joy was also presented with the SA Achiever Award for recognition around Australia in 2009 with her music.

Also creating a buzz has been Amber Joy's tribute show,

Honky Tonk Angels - The Story Of Loretta Lynn & Friends. Her tribute show, tells the tale of the first queen of country music, Land her amazing career, friendships and how she paved the way for women in country music and in life.

The show has toured Australia, performed to a crowd of over 900 people at The Gympie Muster last year and has sold out at the Adelaide Fringe Festival three years in a row as well as starring at the Sydney Fringe 2011

Since her breakthrough into the country music scene Amber Joy has been in high demand and has made appearances at the following country music festivals, Tamworth, Mildura, Boyup Brook, Katherine Muster, Barmera, Blanchetown, Semaphore, Murraylands and the SA Stampede.

Amber Joy Poulton will perform at the Wauchope RSL Club on July 25.

Not forgetting a very successful Gympie Muster alongside Jimmy Barnes, James Reyne, Troy C.D

McClymonts, Sara Storer and supporting Kenny Rogers, Melinda Schneider, Brian Cadd & Russell Morris on their Adelaide tours.

2011/2012 saw a return to Boyup Brook CMF, Barham CMF, Mildura and "all aboard" she's just got her sea legs back after performing along side Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, Gina Jeffreys, John Williamson, Catherine Britt, Amber Lawrence and more on Cruisin' Country. She's on board again in 2013 alongside Lee Kernaghan and Troy Cassar-Daley.
