The Trek4Kidz fundraiser nets over $6000 for Starlight Foundation.
THE eighth annual Trek4Kidz fundraising charity golf day attracted almost 90 starters to the Wauchope Country Club course on Sunday.
Organisers Don and Michelle McDonald, said all funds raised would assist the Trek4Kidz Starlight Foundation.
"The conditions were perfect, although it was a bit wet underfoot," Mr McDonald said.
"The day is all about a game of golf, a few quiet beers, tell a few lies ... nothing serious.
"And to raise money for Trek4Kidz and the Starlight Foundation."
About $6295 was raised on the day.
Hole sponsors on the day included, Star Hotel, John Oxley Motors, Hot Wok, Faster Leather Goods Wauchope, Pete Donald Building, Cullens Carpets, Muddles Farm Supplies with special thanks to Brad Moore from 2MC FM and the Wauchope Gazette for their support.
Major sponsors included Damien and Jess Blair from the Star Hotel and John Oxley Motors.
