Eunice, from Port Macquarie, attended the Lasiandra Fashion Parade at Wauchope Country Club on Sunday March 9 where she purchased her lucky ticket.
Congratulations Eunice and a big thank you from the Lasiandra Committee - Eunice could not be dissuaded from donating back $100 from her winnings to help with the planned improvements to Lasiandra Park - a new BBQ facility.
Formal proceedings for the 2014 Festival wrapped up with the highly successful 30th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at Wauchope RSL Club on Saturday March 29. Around 84 guests gathered in the Rosewood Room and enjoyed an evening of fun, laughter, musical entertainment from Rosa Van der Ley and Angus Gill, plus lots of reminders of festival events past.
Special guests included Deputy Premier of NSW Andrew Stoner, Councillor Sharon Griffiths and past Lasiandra Presidents Gordon Rogers and Jeanette Rainbow.
The evening also showcased the town's involvement in the annual festival with the presentation of the 2014 Lasiandra Festival Awards a highlight.
Many business houses were represented to pick up their awards and trophies for their outstanding efforts on Purple People Day, Thursday March 13.

The evening culminated with the cutting of the 30th Anniversary Celebration Cake by Lasiandra President Sam Elphick and long-time supporter Mrs Isobel Woodlands.
The final event for the 2014 Lasiandra Festival will be the running of the 30th Annual Lasiandra Trophy Race on Easter Monday. Hosted by Wauchope Jockey Club all are invited to come on out to the Beechwood Road track for an afternoon of country racing. There will be prizes for the best purple dressed. See you there!
