Laura's selection in the Combined High School's team is the highest honour a student in NSW can attain.
The event was held at Crusoe Reservoir in Bendigo Victoria from April 8-11. The Individual race was held on April 10 and the team race on April 11.
Laura finished fourth in the individual, and her NSW Senior Girls team finished second in the team event. Laura was very pleased with the result considering she had limited training in the past month or so due to sickness.
Stephen Perkins Chairman of the Wauchope Lions Sports Foundation said the Wauchope Club has been following Laura's athletic achievements which have been many and were happy to provide assistance.
"Once again we are happy to be able to help relieve some of the high financial cost that is associated with competing at a state level," said Stephen.
"The support from local sponsors such as Greenbourne Nursery of Wauchope is helping our kids reach their potential by being able to travel further afield to compete".
