POLICE are investigating an alleged incident involving a student being approached approached by an unknown man in the school grounds on Thursday, May 8.

Parents and carers were issued with a notification letter on Friday that urged them to reinforce the stranger danger message to children.
The student, who reported being approached, ran to class and was uninjured during the incident.
Deputy Prinicpal, Rose Pelley wanted to reassure parents and carers that no one was harmed during the alleged incident.
"We would like to reassure the community that no child or staff member was hurt during the alleged incident,” said Mrs Pelley.
No other reports of an intruder were given and the matter was reported to police immediately.
