It costs $295 per person to attend the event and, while the school is paying for two students to go, local businesses, groups, churches and individuals have been happy to pay for the other 18 to go, the school's deputy principal Nicole Gough said.
Sponsors include Wauchope Legacy, Uniting Church, Rotary, IGA, Anglican Church, Baptist Church, Lions and Charles Sturt University.
Several of the church donations have actually been made by individuals who want to remain anonymous.
The school wanted to express its gratitude to these groups and individuals, Ms Gough said.
"I can't believe how much has been given, from such a small community, and what it will achieve," she said.
The Luminosity event is described as an "action packed three day event full of inspiring speakers at the top of their fields - including marketing strategists, social entrepreneurs, academics, scientists, medical professionals, journalists, talented performing artists and musicians with interactive workshops and panels to motivate and elevate you to success".
The theme of this year's Summit is . . . "Dangerous ideas - your idea - your community - your world" and its aim is to "inspire you to follow your dreams; challenge you to be the best person you can be and give you skills to excel in your chosen journey."
The Wauchope High School students attending the summit are Breanna Allen, Zoe Blair, Reilly Bromfield, Teresa Cochrane, Eliza Colby, Amos Donovan, Shai Haddon, Jack Jones, Jacob Phillips, Karl Doherty, Lionel Lockwood, Taylor Long, Georgia Malcolm, Zack Mason, Cooper McCallum, Jayden Newman, Melissa Parsons, Kitiara Porter, Emily Price and Huon Williams.
