Saturday saw 12 very brave ladies arrive to play. There was some interesting bowls played, with the wind playing havoc with the bowls, however all seemed to enjoy the fun and the eventual winners were the team with the highest score - Dot Galbraith, Doris McKinnon and Tina Hamilton. Lucky losers were the team with the lowest losing margin, the combination of Sylvia Wells, Ann Swanson and Heather Bartlett.
The raffle winners were Marie Winter and Norman Morgan.
Our birthday girls for the week were Margaret Coulon (19th), Paulene Marsdon (20th) and Pat Kirkman (21st). Happy birthday to the three ladies.
It was nice to have Sue Kilmurray and Krys Flanagan back to bowls after a short absence.
Don't forget our pink/friendship day on August 2. Bring along your pals and have an enjoyable day.
Harrington ladies are joining us on November 20, bringing 30-40 players, so we would like to equal them and show them a great day out.
