MIKAELA McKinnon from Hastings District Pony Club braved the cold weather and some rain to attend the zone 25 show rider and the Dungog Pony Club interclub day at the Dungog Showground.

Mikaela, riding Sam, came home with a ribbon in every event and she even won a prize in the pony club raffle.
Mikaela's results riding Sam in the 13 and under 15 years for the zone 25 show rider were: 2nd handler, 4th riding class (ring 3), 4th riding class (ring 1), 2nd hack, 3rd educated hack, 2nd working hunter, 4th pleasure hack, 6th bareback riding class, 1st pair of galloways.
Mikaela's results riding Sam in the 13 and under 15 years for the Dungog interclub day were: 1st hack, 1st riding class, 2nd pair of riders, 3rd pleasure hack, 2nd bareback riding class, 2nd running tee, 2nd pony twist, 2nd straight barrel, 2nd scudahoe, 3rd keyhole.
Mikaela also won the champion pointscore trophy for the 13 and under 15 riders. Congratulations for a successful weekend.
The Hastings District Pony Club's next training day will be held on August 10, with a 9am start, at our pony club grounds next to the Wauchope stockyards.
New members welcome. It is compulsory for all horses ridden or taken to pony club in our zone 9 to be Hendra vaccinated, with a current Hendra certificate.
Don't forget our pony club camp, being held from September 21 to September 25.
