The swimmers were expecting to see snow after a big dump on the Friday but it wasn't to be. They may have been a bit disappointed in the air, but their performance in the pool soon overcome this, the club says.
TSA's youngest member, Larnie Vagg, scored five personal bests from five races - not bad for a six-year-old.
To complement these outstanding results her older sister Taryn Vagg and cousin Douglas Toomey produced all PBs as well, with seven out of seven and six out of six respectively.
To top off the day, Claudia Todd entered 10 events and scored nine gold medals and achieved six PBs.
Their coach Derrick Todd was astounded by their success. These children had started as babies with him and to see their progress was wonderful, improving their times at each carnival, he said.
TSA swim club meets every Friday night from 6pm during school term. Anyone interested in giving competitive swimming a go please contact The Swimming Academy on 6581 0422, the club says. Winter season is still running and the 2014-2015 season begins in October.
