In their last home match of the 2014 season next weekend, the side will be decked out in specially designed outfits to raise money for the fight against melanoma.
The top of the table clash is on Saturday August 9.
Playing competition front-running side Macleay Valley Mustangs, the Blues will be wearing jerseys, shorts and socks specially designed for the match, and which will be auctioned at a function that evening to raise funds for the Melanoma Institute.
The auction of the Coast to Coast Sport-designed melanoma football outfits and other items will be held at the Wauchope RSL Club, from 6.30pm.
The charity fundraiser is an annual Wauchope Blues event, with last year's beneficiary being prostate cancer awareness.
With two of the club's players losing their mothers to melanoma in the last year, the fight against that disease was an obvious choice for the club this season, Blues secretary Kelly Ison said.
The August 9 match will also be the club's sponsors' day and should be a big day of football, Kelly said.
The winner of the match will almost definitely secure the minor premiership for season 2014. With the prize of a home semi-final and possible grand final on the line the Wauchope footy club would like to call on the whole Wauchope community to get out and support the Blues for what is set to be a great day of rugby league.
