In the defence, Ashleigh Hodder played strongly as goal keeper, blocking her player from even getting to the post. Ella-Jai Nolland was a consistently strong player intercepting the play well, and passing off to her team mates.
The enjoyment showed on Amelia Stennett's face as she intercepted the oppositions passes, and blocked their attempts at rebounds in goal. This continued through the mid-court with Sarah Phillips working well in both the centre and wing positions the help move the ball down the court.
Sarih Lee also worked well in these positions to incept well when it was least expected by the opposition! Madison Platts continued to never give up despite being injured!
She played in both attack and defensive positions well, running hard and always thinking ahead of the opposing team.
In attack Taylah Debreceny shot well. She scored some of the best shots of the day as well as rebounding hard any that were missed.
She was teamed well with Madeline Kennett who moved well around the goal circle.
She also shot some great goals, as well as passing the ball off to others in a better position to shoot.
Overall, the weekend showed just how much the Doves have improved throughout this season. Their skills are getting stronger, and this is flowing through to game day. But the biggest joy has been seeing the Doves become a team of 9 girls, all keen to play, have fun, learn new skills and become friends. Congratulations from Jodie and Sarah!

WAUCHOPE Netball Club's under 13A Bellbirds coached by Kim Thompson and sponsored by Thompson Trading and Sheds played Camden Haven in wet, slippery and miserable conditions on Saturday.
The Bellbirds were missing two players so Kimberley Lowe from the 12A Plovers filled in and what a game she had, she was too quick for the Camden Haven shooters with many turnovers.
Thanks Kimberley. Caitlin Miller and Isabel Ryan played their usual great game in defence, frustrating the Camden Haven girls with intercepts and touches galore.
Centre Ashleigh Woodbury and WA Georgia McKinnon were running rings around Camden Haven, getting the ball down the court to shooters Kayla Turner and Cheyenne Norris with ease.
With Kayla and Cheyenne's great movement in the goal circle and accuracy, the Bellbirds came away with a 29-7 win.
