The B and C grade ladies teams both triumphed in their respective competitions playing very strongly and structured hockey throughout the season.

Both teams are looking forward to their respective semi final matches.

In the men's competitions, the B grade side also topped the home and away series while the C grade side was just two points behind the eventual minor premiers.

And the junior competition was also a big winner for the local club.

Wauchope reached the play offs against the combined Wauchope/Port City team as 3v4 in the under 16's semi on Thursday night.

Under 9's and 11's will play all the way through to grand final day, whilst the under 13's were just out, coming in 5th out of the 9 team comp.

Semi finals are this week, with C grade men on Friday night and B grade men and women on Saturday afternoon after the junior games.

C Grade women took to the hockey filed last night in their semi final contest.

Grand final day is Saturday September 13, when all grand final games will be played. Starting with juniors in the morning, followed by seniors from 1pm. Come along and support your local club.
