As in past years the Club expects many exhibitors and traders to present an amazing and wide range of collectables and antiques. There will also be displays of antique vehicles and orchids to add colour to the day.
Because 2014 is the 100 year anniversary of the start of World War 1, a memorabilia collection and historical information from WW1 will be featured. In addition a local model maker will display a very detailed collection of army tanks in battle scenes.
There are over 100 classes of items that may be on display including tin toys, antique telephones, bottles, Depression glassware, fine china, old tool, silverware and coins.
As a special feature this year, Lions members, at set times during the fair, will use original separators and churns to make butter, something that will bring back memories to the more senior visitors and will be a new experience to many young visitors.
There is plenty of parking, level walkways to displays and nearby toilets. Wauchope Lions will provide a sausage sizzle at a small fee and tea/coffee and light refreshments are available in the main hall.
Gates open 9am to 4pm Saturday and 9am to 1pm Sunday and entry is only $5.
