The second grade team defeated the Wingham Tigers on the weekend to go deeper into the finals.
Breakers under 18s and first grade side's missed the cut for finals footy.
This weekend the reserve graders take on the Macleay Valley Mustangs.
The winner of the game will go on to play the Port Macquarie Sharks in the final. The Breakers have taken on the Kempsey side twice this season for two losses. Despite the less than comforting record, the Breakers remain confident of pulling off an upset.
"Each time we've played them this year they've beaten us but each time we've been pretty depleted with players," back rower Drew Smith said.
"We're going into this game pretty much full strength.
"We're finally getting a lot of our players back and we've been playing pretty good footy the last four or five weeks."
The game will be played at Kempsey on Sunday.
