THE Wauchope Junior Rugby League presentation was held recently at the Wauchope RSL Club for the ages under 12's - under 16's.

The night commenced with a wonderful meal prepared by staff from the RSL Club. All players received a trophy whilst some boys received an additional trophy in recognition of their efforts throughout the year.
President Shane Cribb, spoke at the Presentation night and whilst he acknowledged the efforts of the players, he also thanked the committee for their efforts throughout the season in the overall running of the club. Coaches, referees and first aid officers were also thanked by Shane for their assistance.
Shane acknowledged all sponsors including the Wauchope RSL who were the major "Gold Sponsor" for the year.
While a number of awards were handed out, two players were recognised for playing the previous 10 years with the Wauchope Junior Rugby League Club; Jackson Partridge and Dan Middleton.
In recognising the efforts of previous committee persons, Brad Hinton, Austin Bell and Troy McKinnon were honoured with Life Membership.
Life Members and sponsors presented the awards to the players on the night.

The Annual General Meeting for the year will be held on Wednesday, October 8 2014 6.30pm at the Wauchope RSL Club.
The club is looking for more parents on the committee to assist in the running of the club and if they are interested in would be good to see them at the meeting.
