The pool has been thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the coming season.
The pool operator's development application for a new indoor pool facility is progressing through Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and it is hoped work will be able to begin soon.
"The new pool will be heated and will allow for an expansion of our Learn to Swim classes," Mr Mullens said.
"We are planning to have an open day to coincide with the opening of the new pool.
"Our new website will be up soon - check out www.swimwellpl.com."
Swimwell has adopted the companion card scheme which allows people with a disability to bring a companion free of charge.
"We will continue to provide our Learn To Swim program catering for children as young as three months, in our Parent and Child classes, and all levels up to adults, including Special Needs. All teachers are Austswim qualified, and our coaches are certified by ASCTA," he said.
"We plan to continue and build on water polo competitions and to develop the diving program through promotions and intensive sessions and negotiate with schools to run school sport diving programs.
"We will also be increasing squad training sessions and hope to form a surf training squad."
We will be providing inflatable play equipment (Aquascramble), and will be holding fun nights as fundraisers and social events."
