WITHOUT all the political jargon and fuel company long winded rationale attempting to justify the excessive pricing of fuel in Port Maquarie can someone explain in plain English why service stations up and down the coast and remote country areas can retail diesel as low as $1.42.9.

Here in Port $1.65.9 is the lowest and appears to be the norm.
No pressure on our local political representative but why is it so?
