Skye attended the titles held on August 23 - 29 with a little help from the Wauchope Lions Club Sports Foundation.
Whilst QLD eventually won the competition, the NSW team fought fiercely with almost every set of five, being played out to the maximum point score.
Many of the games were played to their full set resulting in the girls being on court for nearly 2 hours per match which was a huge effort.
Skye was voted Most Valuable Player (MVP) for NSW on many occasions by both the opposing team's coaches as well as the NSW coaches.
" I would like to thank the teamManager Steve Clayworth from Wauchope High School who volunteered his time to be with the team every step of the way and ensure things ran smoothly, " said Skye.
"The whole NSW team were lucky to have him on board.
"I would also like to thank the Wauchope Lions Club Sports Foundation for all their help getting me to the National Titles".
President of the Wauchope Lions Club Stephen Perkins happily presented Skye with a cheque together with John Carr from Greenbourne Nursery; Lions Club Sports Foundation sponsor.
"It was a pleasure to be able to assist Skye financially to lesson the high cost that comes with competing at a National level, which would not be possible without the support from local sponsors such as Greenbourne Nursery," said Stephen.
