Eric Robinson of The Other Chef fine foods will use Comboyne Cheese bluembert and his own onion jam and quince paste, East Coast Gourmet sticky vanilla figs, truffle honey, balsamic caviar and baby rocket to make a delicious meal before your eyes.
The Hastings Co-op Department Store is a sponsor of the volunteers for the October 26 Tastings on Hastings.
Marketing manager Tim Walker said there was such a tremendous response to chef Robinson's last in-store appearance it was a perfect time to bring him back.
Customers at the store will also be able to take advantage of a 20 per cent discount off kitchenware from 10am until 2pm in conjunction with today's cooking demonstration.
Tastings on Hastings will be held at Port Macquarie's Town Centre this Sunday from 9am until 4pm.
The core aim of the event is to celebrate the farming, fresh produce, gourmet produce, wines, beers, chefs, restaurants and cafes of the Hastings region.
With a theme of "Our Story, Our Soul, Our Food", the 2014 event embraces the multicultural influences within our local community.
The format for this year's event will differ slightly from previous years with the introduction of venue 'precincts', for the convenience of patrons.
