The special guest speaker and customer service specialist Dr Ian Brooks was on hand to present the awards and make a heartfelt speech about Pride of Workmanship.

In preparation for the award presentation, Wauchope Rotary sought nominations from the total business community of Wauchope with a view to having them nominate any staff who possess outstanding qualities in service and who proudly deliver quality work, and have a sense of pride in their work.

"We believe that Pride of Workmanship, the sense of responsibility to do a job well, is one of the greatest contributions an employee can make to their community,"said Wauchope Rotary member and event co-ordinator George Campbell.

"The awards seek to promote the 'Pride of Workmanship' theme by honouring those people in Wauchope, irrespective of age or vocation who, in the eyes of their employers, show a distinct quality in their approach, attitude and dedication to their job," said Mr Campbell.
