The annual 'Tee off for Breast Cancer' event held last week at the Wauchope Country Club seems to get bigger and better every year, helping to support research which is benefiting women and their families every day.
This special initiative of the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia (BCIA) has raised more than $1.47 million since 1996 to support clinical trials research for the treatment, prevention and cure of breast cancer.
This year Wauchope Country Club joined with over 250 golf clubs throughout Australia to show their support for this important research by holding their Tee Off event.
All lady members donated to the marvellous raffle table which raised over $1000.
The golf course was aglow with all shades of pink, the golf carts were all frocked up and even the Men's Vets went mad over captain Beryl Taylor's "boobie" biscuits.
