'Frank Yamma'
Frank will launch his album 'Uncle' live at this event, this is a follow up LP to his internationally acclaimed 'Countryman' album of 2010, which saw Frank embark on four international tours including a coveted spot on the official showcase at WOMEN X 14 in Europe. Frank is regarded by many as one of Australia's significant Indigenous songwriters with an ability to cross cultural and musical boundaries. When he sings you listen and travel with him. Although he lived in Adelaide for many years, Frank says his spirit belongs to the heart of Australia, Uluru, Docker River, Ernabella, Central Australia, as he says that is where the Pitjantjatjara mob come from. Frank sings in both Pitjantjatara and English.
