Trudy Jane Sheiles, also known as Trudy Gilson, aged 38, was charged on Friday with murdering a Wauchope man earlier that day.
Her partner Ryan James Smith, 30, was arrested outside the courthouse on Saturday morning.
He was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, cultivating a prohibited plant, supplying cannabis and cultivating cannabis.
He was refused bail on Sunday at Port Macquarie Local Court.
On Friday he had taken police to his property at Pappinbarra.
A crime scene was established and a lengthy search allegedly turned up a number of items including 202 marijuana plants, plus 41 cannabis cuttings without roots.
Another six cannabis plants were allegedly found at a property where Mr Smith sometimes stayed in Park Street, Port Macquarie.
On Monday Ms Sheiles' head stayed dipped toward her right shoulder while solicitor Roger Firth applied for her bail under section 33.1B of the Mental Health (Forensic Provision) Act 1990, so she could be psychologically assessed.
The registrar did not grant the application.
