THE volunteers of the community run Douglas Vale Historic Homestead and Vineyard in Port Macquarie are holding a tours, tastings, treasures and teas (TTTT) day this Saturday January 17 from 9am to 2.30pm.

Take a free tour of the homestead that dates back 150 years and is Port Macquarie's oldest timber building that has been lovingly restored by the volunteers.
There is much to see and do for the whole family. View an interesting range of unique and authentic artefacts and enjoy listening to stories surrounding the pioneering family of the Homestead, their lifestyles and adventures, many involving the sea.
Taste 7 exclusive wines grown from the Vineyard including two whites, two reds, a Rose and the sparkling Chambourcin, 'Fireworks', along with the much loved Portabella, a fortified wine made from the original Isabella grapes. Enjoy the quality and economical pricing and win some Douglas Vale etched wine glasses or a Gourmet Roasting Pack in the raffle.
There will be trading tables brimming with treasures inlcuding a huge range of household bargains and bric-a-brac, there's something for everyone to purchase.
Don't forget to take tea; those famous Devonshire Teas with tea, coffee, water and soft drinks will be available, along with a sausage sizzle.
You could even bring a picnic as Douglas Vale was the favoured picnic venue in Port Macquarie for generations and much is undercover.
Douglas Vale is located at 235 Oxley Highway between Widderson St and Findlay Avenue, near the TAFE and between Westport Primary and High Schools.
