You can't beat this show for family fun and variety in an atmosphere that is at once welcoming with all the hallmarks of true old fashioned hospitality.
Locals have been working feverishly to complete work on the inspiring new multi-purpose building of unique design, by local artisan Andrew Turner that is currently in the final stages of completion.
Comboyne Show President, Rod Fisher values the Australian Agricultural Show tradition and also likes to offer show visitors some new country experiences.
As well as the high standard of exhibits in art, craft, photography, cooking, produce, flowers, poultry and championship dog show, there will again be the entertaining and unique program of Mountain Goat Racing.
"This event really seems to have captured people's imagination," said Rod.
Major Sponsor for the goat racing, "Sundial Dental" at Wauchope and Port Macquarie, is enthusiastically supporting the event, with Dr Peter Elfar and staff participating and hoping to once again claim victory.
Saturday entry is just $5 for adults and free for anyone under 16.
There is free parking available at the Showground (just follow the signs).
The Comboyne Show starts at 9am on Saturday, February 28 and continues on Sunday, March 1 with equestrian events.
A full program of entertainment, exhibits and unique events will be profiled in the Gazette in the coming weeks.
