Good early bowling from Colin, Zav and Lacey, well supported in the field by Jason, who took an excellent catch, kept the Thunder contained early in their innings.
Despite this, some strong batting by Thunder's middle order helped them to 7/135 at the close of innings.
Beechwood All Stars started the run chase cautiously with Max and Molly opening the innings.
Both Max and Molly defended the aggressive bowling very well until Molly was caught in the 5th over.
Max continued his solid defence until he was bowled in the 7th over, which started a batting collapse that saw the All Stars bowled out for 28.
Despite the result, the kids showed lots of improvement and we look forward to some strong outings of the final few weeks of competition.
