The band has now performed around this time for the last three years and those who have attended previously rave about the entertainment and the quality of this award winning brass band.
Entry is via a gold coin donation at the door and the net proceeds of the night will be going to Wauchope District Memorial Hospital for use in providing added comforts for patients.
Neville Parsons from Wauchope Rotary said the Brisbane Water Brass Band is a community brass band based on the NSW Central Coast.
The band was formed in November 2003 by a small group of enthusiastic brass players.
Brisbane Water Brass Band brings together people with a wide range of musical experience and ability, from professional musicians, to relatively inexperienced players with a desire to improve their skills.
The idea for the band came from Mr. Ken Townsend and friend Rod Paul who reconised there were a number of older players on the Central Coast who once played in community and Salvation Army Bands but no longer had anywhere to play.
Some hadn't played for 20 years. One had been off the scene for 40 years.
Approximately 30 Band members will be performing in Wauchope to entertain and delight the audience.
Enjoy being entertained by this award winning brass band and help raise funds for the Wauchope District Memorial Hospital.
