The team - Brian Hardy, Sam Andrews, Don Brown, Keith Cutler, Graeme Hyde and Tracey Cutler - were presented with 20 years' service T-shirts at the club.
Brian Hardy said putting on the barbecues gave them all a lot of satisfaction.
The number of lunches provided varied every year, he said, but usually ranged around 150.
While the food was mainly intended for the kids, the barbecue team were happy to feed whoever turned up, he said, with some ex-servicemen and women opting to stay outside with their grandchildren or great-grandchildren for lunch.
Putting on the barbecues is "a most enjoyable" thing to do, Brian said. "We all love it - especially for the kids."
