He was diagnosed at two and a half with cancer - rhabdomyosarcoma.
He was able to leave hospital momentarily for his fourth birthday before returning for major surgeries.
He hasn't had chemotherapy since then, just takes maintenance drugs and lives a pretty normal life.
He has been a part of many organisations; poster boy to raise awareness for Australian Red Cross Blood Service, has walked the Relay for Life and this is his second World's Greatest Shave!
His personal goal for the World's Greatest Shave this year was $500 and he has smashed it, raising over $1000 yet to be finalised.
Camden Haven High School has been a great support and hosted Jo's shave on stage at their assembly, rallying great support from all his peers.
