A putting competition was included in the game, which was also round 3 of the Eclectic competition.

Weather conditions were very good, as was the course condition thanks to the ground staff.
Some excellent scores were returned in all grades for the day's event.
A grade winner was Tony Scriven with a net 66, with runner-up Gary Duncan with a net 67. In third place was Kerry Galloway with a net 68. Kerry also won the putting competition for the day with 25 putts.
B grade winner was John Gardener with a net 66 and runner-up was Graham Cumming with a net 67. In third place was Ray Smith with a net 68.
C grade winner was Fred Ertl with a net 72 on a c/b to Peter Jaye, also with a net 72 on a c/b to John Willis with a net 72 on a c/b.
Nearest the pin comps on hole 4: A grade winner was Paul Weismantle 1.58m, B grade Ray Smith 1.9m and C grade Allan Harris 3.49m.
At the 18th, A grade was won by Keith Martin 2.5m, B grade went to Graham Ferguson 3.43m and C grade Gordon Christie 4.14m.
In the ball comp balls went down to 73 exact giving 41 players a bonus ball.
