FIFTY-four players teed it up on Wednesday, March 18, in the Wauchope Ladies Golf 1st WG and Monthly Medal Round of the year, which was also the qualifying round for the Singles Matchplay Knockout.

Clarke Joyce generously sponsored the 18-hole Stroke Event for 1st and runner-up in each division.
Jane Horne once again demonstrated her outstanding ability by winning both the gross and net events with 74/70 which included the Div 1 Monthly Medal.
Mary Harrison, also in a purple patch, was runner-up only one shot behind with 71net.
Div 2 Monthly Medal winner Karen Muras also won the gross 96 and net 75, both on a countback from runner-up Kay Andrews.
Veronica Dietrich was the Div 3 Monthly Medal winner with 75net and Pam Willis with the score of 77net was the runner-up. Margaret Kundicevic was the gross winner in Div 3.
The putting competition - Div 1 W. Price 26 putts, Div 2 J. Hardy 28 putts and Div 3 M. Kundicevic 31 putts c/b.
NTP 4th - Div 1 M. Harrison, no Div 2 or Div 3. The balls went into the ball comp.
NTP 18th - Div 1 L. Ison, Div 2 M. Martin, Div 3 R. Mussett.
Birdies were had by M. Abra 17th, J. Horne 1st, 4th, 9th and 15th, B. Varcoe 9th, M. Harrison 4th, R. Judge 4th and F. Moorhead 9th.
Gobbles by P. Smith 11th, M. Abra 17th, S. Ward 11th, P. Barnaby 8th, R. Judge 4th, F. Moorhead 5th.
Sixteen ladies qualified for the Singles Knockout and have till Wednesday, April 1, to play their matches.
The field for the Saturday Business Ladies V/Par event was a little depleted because of the wet weather, with only seven brave ladies completing the competition. Maree Moore was the winner on a c/b from Linda Ison with -2. Balls went to V. Deitrich and T. Kirkman, with Linda Ison NTP on the 4th.
