A tip-off has led police to seizing firearms and cannabis plants valued at $72,000 from a property near Port Macquarie.

Officers went to a Pembrooke Road address about 2pm Wednesday following a call to Crime Stoppers.
Inside a shed on the property, about 25km west of Port Macquarie, ,police seized 36 cannabis plants growing hydroponically.
The plants have an estimated potential street value of $72,000.
Police also allegedly located a modified semi-automatic shortened .22 rifle, homemade silencer, an electrical control weapon disguised as a torch, handcuffs, and ammunition.
The 35-year-old man is helping police at Port Macquarie Police Station with their inquiries.
