Out of a game with great effort and teamwork from all, Brad Copelin was named players' player for the match.
In our Wauchope RSL-sponsored seniors, the ladies A grade had a convincing 6-0 win over Kempsey, with great skill and effort shown, resulting in a bored goalie. B grade women managed to get up over Camden Haven 3-2 in a well-structured game. C grade ladies unfortunately went down 2-0 despite fighting hard the whole time.
The men had mixed results, starting with C grade on Friday night going down 1-0. Despite having only 10 players they managed to find energy reserves and go again with five minutes to go, being just inches away from levelling the score.
B men just seemed a little off the pace and a step behind in their 7-0 loss.
A grade lost their six-match winning streak in the 2-2 draw against Thunder, with Wauchope smashing two quick goals in the final five minutes to level the game.
