Wauchope Youth Theatre, in conjunction with Extravadance Studios and Rhythm Revue, will captivate the audience with their 'A most wonderful fairytale' production.
Director and founding member of the Wauchope Youth Theatre, Greta Warner, started out nearly 10 years ago with a desire to help artists young and old learn their craft and display their talents on stage.
While it's taken nine years to reach this point, the group has produced many great shows and entertained hundreds in the process.
Productions include The Pirates of the Jelly Beans 1, 2 and 3, Invitation from the Master, Enchanted Cottage, Isabella's Dream, The Mother Goose shows and The Enchanted Tea Party just to name a few.
Along with Christmas events, Comboyne Shows, variety shows and numerous council openings, this group of young - and not so young - people have certainly gained a lot of experience.
With 37 years of theatre and directing behind her, Mrs Warner is a major asset to the group.
For many years she was a one-woman act, so to speak, doing the directing, music, advertising, costumes and sets mostly on her own.
Several more years on and she has a group of dedicated volunteers who share her dream to help young thespians.
Wauchope Youth Theatre has even started discussing their next big show in 2016 and Extravadance Studios principal Amy Sibthorpe is keen to work with the group again.
At only $15 per person, next Wednesday night's show offers an affordable night out that the whole family will enjoy.
