The result went down to the wire, with the Giants trailing by two runs at the bottom of the fourth before Giants scored three runs to seal a 10 run to 9 victory.
Hitting for Giants, Bailey Smith notched up a double and single, while Andrew Campbell, Rod Powell, Tony Brown, Mick Dagert, Jo Bonney and Matt Campbell all hit singles.
Brewers' batters Joel Pryke hit a homerun and two doubles from three at bat, Brian Raglus triple and two singles from three at bat, JJ Burton a homerun, Mitch Dries two doubles, Dane Thompson double and single, Brad Minett single.
Pitching, Giants' Bailey Smith recorded four innings, 12 hits, seven strikeouts and three walks.
Brewers' Brian Raglus had two innings, six hits, two strikeouts and one walk, Joel Pryke two innings, two hits, four strikeouts, two walks.
In the major semi, minor premiers Spartans, who have gone through the season undefeated, played second-placed Pirates.
Hitting for Spartans, Rod Morton scored a homerun and single, Bryden Kouwenberg three singles from three at bat, Jamie Tait double and single, Matt Allen (2), Kris Stewart, Howard Marzan and Andrew Taylor all hit singles.
Pirates' Michael Potts' double and single from two at bat, Jordi Gilfillan, Daniel Robb, Sam Hutchison and Paul Calicetto all hit singles.
Pitching for Spartans, Matt Allen recorded four innings, six hits, two strikeouts, nine walks.
Pirates' Sam Hutchison two innings, nine hits, three walks, Jordi Gilfillan 1.1 innings, three hits, four walks.
The final score was Pirates 7, Spartans 14. Spartans now progress to the grand final.
Next Sunday at Blackbutt Park, B grade: 11.30am Giants v Pirates. The winner will play Spartans in the grand final.
At 2pm, the A grade Pirates play Taipans for the right to meet minor premiers Giants in the grand final, which is set for September 13.
