The Wolverines' final scoreline of 10-3 saw a lot of selfless play up and down field, with all the hard work of training coming off flawlessly.
Other Wauchope teams progressing are A grade and B grade ladies and C grade men.
The A grade ladies went through when the other team pulled out and will face Port City on Saturday at 4pm.
B grade ladies had a great game with Camden Haven and played through extra time to maintain a nil-all score for 80 minutes of play. Wauchope then progressed due to being higher on the ladder.
C grade men were down 1-0 to Port City until just before half time when Liam Jacobs sneaked a goal through to level up the scores, where they stayed for the rest of the game.
C grade continue their finals road tomorrow at 6.30pm against Thunder.
C grade ladies went down to Thunder in extra time, bringing their run to an abrupt stop. The girls played really well and if anything had more attack and ball play than the other team, but struggled to get that final shot on goal in.
Last Thursday night saw the U16 Woodcutters play an action-packed semi-final, which they led 2-0 at half time.
Some brilliant saves by Dylan and clearing of the ball by defenders starved the Thunder team of a goal.
The second half saw the intensity lift even higher and despite some excellent passing and unselfish play Wauchope couldn't find the net again.
Late in the second half Thunder managed to score twice to level the game, sending it into extra time, where Thunder scored to win the game off a short corner.
The coach said "our kids left nothing in the shed on this game, they played their hearts out and should be very proud of their whole season".
