The event is pencilled in for Sunday, October 25 and all proceeds will be funnelled into maintenance and improvements at Beechwood Sporting Complex.
The kids billycart race, for those aged 15 and under, will be over one kilometre, starting at 11am.
The main race, which spirals four kilometres down Mount Pappinbarra, will start at 11.30am.
Pappinbarra Road will be closed from 11am to approximately 12.30pm.
The billycart derby has been a mainstay of the Beechwood community for many years, attracting large crowds to cheer racers on.
Attractions also include market stalls, pony rides, a wide range of food and live entertainment thanks to Angus Gill from 1pm.
The family fun day is sponsored by Beechwood Hotel and promises a great day out for people of all ages.
