The highlight of the five race program was the Old Boys Cup over 1800 metres, which was won by Mick O'Neil-trained horse Xerxes Dream.
The winning jockey was hometown favourite Peter Graham, who had a particularly good day in the saddle.
All five races were named after Blues Legends, including Ray Hillard, Vince O'Brien, Gary Paine, John Schubert and Barrie Smith.
Their combined total of games played for the Blues challenges the four figure mark, led by Paine who had 200 games in the red and blue jersey.
