We packed up the kids and a picnic to enjoy a night at the Moonlight Movies last week, but we really shouldn't have bothered.

I'm really annoyed at council for organising yet another free movie night, but selecting an unheard of movie.
Why put on these nights in the school holidays if you're going to pick a movie that isn't catered to families and young kids?
I felt sorry for the council staff who had to sit through the movie, which was only attended by a handful of people.
I wonder if any of those families will bother next time.
If memory serves correctly, the last movie night was a screening of Iron Man and people were packing up well before the end.
It was a beautiful night to enjoy being outside, but even the boring classical music before the movie turned people away.
We all need to support events like this, as free family events are few and far between, but the person picking the movies needs to look at who they're catering to.
